: Your symptoms are consistent with post nasal drainage than a pulmonary issue. Cough from lung insult is more significant in supine position. Gastric reflux can cause the exact symptoms but problem is also more common in supine position. You can try antihistamine OTC such as Allegra or Zyrtec for a week or so for the current sx.
