Manage it: They may be related, but acne is a very serious liability in an adult, and you need to treat it without focusing on the cause. Real cystic acne should prompt consideration of isotretinoin. If milder, benzoyl peroxide is your best friend with your physician perhaps adding an antibiotic briefly.
