Tongue: Stopping your smoking can be a start. It can also be too late. Those bumps on your tongue sound concerning. Better have them checked.

Sore throat on one side when I swallow. No tonsils. I see a penny sized lumpy bump way back on that right side what looks to be on the pharyngeal tongue and/or throat. What could it be, will gargling with salt water help?
