I have flu (with fever). is it better to let the fever run for a viral infection, or bring it down with paracetamol/ similar, in terms of recovery time? thanks!

Comfort: The fever likely will not affect the course of your flu and thus whether you need to reduce the fever or not depends on your comfort level. If the flu has been present for less then 48 hrs, there is a medication which may shorten the duration and severity of the illness if taken <48 hrs after onset of symptoms.
