2 days back, 1 yr old accidentally got wet in rain and cold breeze, he got fever with chills, which is subsiding after paracetamol medication. later recurring. it doesn't seem to be flu. should i wait for one more day or take blood test. suggestions?

Most kids that age get self healing viruses many times/yr. I expect them to last at least 3 days if not longer. If his activities spook you have him seen. I rarely do blood tests when evaluating kids that age. If he is feeding well/playing often & otherwise pretty normal just monitor at home.
