Probably not: Continuing airway inflammation is not unusual after a serious viral infection. If the problem persists or worsen (sputum becoming darker green, coughing more frequent, fever/chills etc) I would wait a week to see if anything else needs be done. See a doctor if the problem worsens especially when you have breathing problem.
