Nothing dramatic: The body shifts into a separate fat burning metabolism during fasting. It takes longer to provide sugar for metabolic activities when converting to it from fat & the person will likely feel sluggish. As long as they do not have a significant medical condition that is aggravated by fasting, this should be well tolerated.
