Dual issues: It is sometimes quite difficult to decide if a medication (like steroids) will stunt growth, or the reason it was required (kidney transplant, asthma) had more effect on height reduction. The question is of interest but not necessarily relevant to life. If you had the disease & this was your only helpful med then you have to deal with the consequences of both.
