I have been weighing 80 kg for the past 30 years seldom dropping below 79 and hardly ever above 81kg. i am 1.82cm. i weighed 79 when i returned from a holiday in europe in october. i have not changed my eating pattern but have picked up weight?

Slower metabolism: Metabolism slow down with increasing age and you will gain weight despite the same level of activity and diet as you had earlier. You should reduce your intake to account for this inevitable fact of increasing age. Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
