Upper gi found gastritis.h-pylori negative. doctor prescribed protonix. been a month, no improvement. (if anything, pain is worse.) how long until i see improvement?

Gastritis: Is a gastroenterologist involved in your care? An endoscopic examination of your stomach and duodenum may be in order. Avoid caffeine,alcohol, nicotine and irritant medications like aspirin,Advil,Aleve. Increasing protonix dose or trying another medication like nexium or zantac may help if gastritis and not pancreatitis or gall bladder disease is the main problem.
