A member asked:

What is the difference between norco 5-325mg verus vicodine 5mg 300 mg tablet?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

They are not: much different except for the amount of acetaminophen each contains. Both contain 5 mg of hydrocodone which is the active narcotic ingredient. Norco 5/325 mg has 325 mg of acetaminophen, and Vicodin 5/300 mg contains 300 mg. They are also branded differently as you can see. Hope this helps. Thanks for trusting in HealthTap.
