It can cause issues with breathing, hoarseness, lump in the throat feeling, If you haven't already, you may need an Ultrasound to evaluate for possible nodules or masses. You should see an endocrinologist or ENT doctor for further intervention or sometimes your primary may order an ultrasound. Enlarged thyroid is common, however.
