Does not add up: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, the results you provided do not add up. It would be prudent to consult a hematologist. Wish you good health!

Serum free light chain test shows normal kappa (8.7mg/dl), low lambda (3.80), high kap/lam ratio (2.31). Serum $ urine electrophoresis show no monoclonal protein, nor does serum immunofixation. Likely MGUS, myeloma, or admyloidosis? CBC/met panel ok.
I am 45 and male. Serum IgA at 472 mg/dl and an apparent polyclonal gammopathy IgA kappa/lambda typing appear increased. Serum free light chain: high kappa 35 mg/L, lambda normal 17.8 mg/L and a ratio of 1.97. Is this Myeloma? No M-protein found?
I have sarcoidosis and a DNA test says myeloma is high risk for me. I did have a beta-2 microglobulin tumor test done. it flagged high. Doc says test is used 2 know if sarcoid is there, not tumor presence. What if it is MM. Cbc is normal?
