Needs more time: It always takes at least a few days and sometimes a week or more for strep infection sympotoms to clear up with antibiotics. Give it more time. Take all the drug as directed. (Azithromycin [Z-pack]) is very long lasting; 5 days treatment means it will still be in your system and working for another 7-10 days.
