On round 2 of zpack for strep. 2 small white spots on throat otherwise red throat. not cultured on 2nd trip. could it be viral?

Viral?: Viral infections are generally self-limited, lasting an average of 3 to 5 days before resolving on their own. Given that you’re on the second round of Z pack, you have been sick presumably for at least five days and probably longer, reducing the chance that this is a simple viral infection. You might need a different choice of antibiotic.
