Congestion.: Assuming you don’t have an infection, your safest bet would be a combination of nasal saline spray and OTC steroid nasal spray, such as Fluticasone. If you have any symptoms of infection (sore throat, fever, chills, sweats, achy, weak, headache, facial pains), then you’d need an evaluation for consideration of an antibiotic that would be safe with those medications.
