Consider Herpes: It is possible that you could have been infected with herpes from the person that you had oral sex with. Even if they were not symptomatic at the time, they could be shedding the virus. It is also possible that your chipped tough damaged the mucosa of your mouth and/or spread a possible bacterial infection. I would recommend seeing a practitioner to be checked for herpes.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. What you described suggests herpes infection and it would be prudent for you to see a doctor.

Sores: May be due to damaged tooth becoming abscessed, Herpes, Thrush, Lichen Planus, and many other reasons. Please see your Dentist or Physician for thorough medical history and examination to determine cause of sores, and then appropriate treatment.
