No: But untreated infection can spread to heart, brain, pancreas, kidneys, etc.

No: But a festering infection taxes your immune system and can spread via your bloodstream to other parts of your body. Although very rare nowadays, 100 years ago tooth infections were a leading cause of death. Have the rotten tooth restored or extracted.
