Pulse pressure.: When pressure is applied to the bunion area throughout the day, it become inflamed. The degree of inflammation can be a result of several factors including, shoes, time on feet and the size of the bunion, just to mention a few. The sharp pain and pulsing is caused by the heart pumping blood through congested tissues, which can be felt as a pulse.
