Dermatomes: A dermatome map will demonstrate that the C5/6 herniation can cause tingling, numbness, weakness in your biceps. Your scalp however contains dermatomes from C1,2 and the three branches of the Trigeminal Nerve VI-III. You need an MRI of the Head/neck. See Neurology please. Any difficulty breathing please call 911 and go to the ER. Cervical roots 3, 4, 5 feed your diaphragm, can't breathe if pinched
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
