Dr.i take one 10 mg immediate release zolpidem and one 12.5 mg controled release zolpidem to get sleep is it ok or is it dangerous?

Zolpidem ?'s: Zolpidem taken in the amounts described will assist with initiation of sleep, but will soon become ineffective as accommodation to the dosage will occur. Increase exercise, and consult your physician for other diagnostic approaches to sleep disorders.

Tolerance: Fully agree with Dr Berryman. You already are demonstrating the need for more medication to provide an effect, called tolerance. This will only get worse with more medication providing less success. Sleep medication is NOT a solution, and in the end, a recipe for more insomnia. Focus upon sleep hygiene approach instead. A virtual consult here on HT could redirect your approach.
