Can i take a low dose ambien (zolpidem) with and otc sleep aid...two ambien (zolpidem) (or the stronger dose) leaves me groggy in the am...one i only sleep 4-5 hours?

See below: Your doc can help adjust the timing of your medication and/or select a different medication - there are many choices out there. Behavioral methods are among the best options for the long-term.

MAYBE?: Perhaps but maybe just ask for a different sleep aid that is longer acting like Restoril (temazepam) for instance. Explain to your physician.
