I need to get a primary care doctor. what do most doctors normally do when they have a new patient walk in? i know check blood pressure is one.

New Dr: They should do a complete medical, social, family history. Do a guided physical exam. Order guided blood tests and x-rays etc if needed. Discuss what they find. All check BP but it is almost never done according to guidelines. Be sure the do it right as most common disease that will disable or kill you before your time.
