Details matter: We do not do those tests without a very good reason. Doing extra tests uses up our patients' and our community's money, which means there is less remaining to care for us when we get sick. If there is an "illness reason" or an important "preventive care" reason, then doctors will order the tests. "For a first time visit" can mean very different things for different people. Details matter.
