Does ovulation and menstruation leads to lowering blood pressure even in hypertension patient ? if yes, should antihypertensive drugs be stopped ?

Question not clear: but I will offer some thoughts. Obviously ovulation and menstruation are normal, physiologic functions in a 21 year woman. Normal blood pressure is expected; hypertension would be unusual. Ovulation and menstruation have no predictable or measurable effect on blood pressure. If drug treatment has been started for hypertension,it should not be altered unless directed by a physician.Hope this helps

No and No: Unless menstrual activity approaches hemorrhage and anemia, then blood pressure will be unaffected. Antihypertensive drugs should not be arbitrarily stopped as elevated blood pressure can damage the kidneys. In patients who have lost substantial amounts o weight, lowered their LDL cholesterol and exercise frequently, blood pressure has been known to go back to normal obviating BP drug need.
