A member asked:

I know that there isn't any antihypertensives drugs that target only the diastolic number but is there a particular type of meds that works best in isolated diastolic high blood pressure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Antihipertensives: the big majority of them work on both. probably the calcium channel blockers like amlodipine work better on the diastolic blood pressure
