Dental review: Dental treatment can last a long time if done properly and maintained by the patient. Some patients are not ideal candidates for implants-smokers, diabetics, people with healing issues. Fillings can get recurrent decay around and under them over time. It is always your right to request a review. Check with your local dental society and inquire about Peer Review.

If you would like: But implants are not foolproof, and neither is any other medical care for that matter. Your overall health and the maintenance of your oral health will be put into question. Did you go for cleanings as directed? Diet? Social habits like smoking? All play a role in your general and dental health.

Collaboration: Oral health care is a collaborative effort between you and your Dentist. If you are doing your part brushing, flossing, healthy diet, regular professional care, and you are still having problems, may be time for a second opinion.
