Gentle washing: Some people tend to produce more oils from the skin. If you use a face wash for oily skin, you could also apply it when washing your face on the ear lobes to see if that can reduce some of the oil buildup. I would avoid getting it in your ear canal, but the outerside is okay. You could also use a washcloth to help remove the soap once you apply it.
