Difficult question: Very good question, but hard to answer with just the number alone because within the range of 40-50 mmHg, we usually like to take into context the overall clinical condition like the diagnosis, symptoms that the patient has, and any definitive testing that can clarify if pulmonary hypertension is truly present. PAH is usually a pretty serious finding at that age and you might need more testing.
