Yes: Echo is a non invasive way to diagnose pulmonary hypertension. It is use very frequently - other options include catheterization of the heart to measure pressure within the lung blood vessels/vasculature.

ECHO for PH: Pulmonary hypertension (ph) is often first detected by echocardiogram (echo) which estimates the pulmonary artery systolic pressure. The diagnosis is confirmed by right heart catheterization which measures mean pulmonary artery pressure and resistance.
