It sounds like you: may have an infection. Although a dentist is not available I am sure you could reach him/her by phone. Call and explain the situation. I suspect he/she will call in antibiotics for your use prior to the procedure.

Call Dentist: See if he/she can call in an antibiotic to your local pharmacy. Antibiotic will limit spread of infection. Cold compresses and OTC analgesics, taken exactly as per package directions, may also help.

Antibiotics: You'll need an antibiotic to help control the infection until your visit. Call the dentist who will be treating you and they can contact your pharmacy to provide you with the proper medication.
