Cipro (ciprofloxacin) & Wellbutrin: Both wellbutrin & Cipro (ciprofloxacin) can lower seizure threshhold in dose-dependent ways. Risk can increase when using these meds at same time, so your nurse is wisely cautious. However, both your prescribing physician and the pharmacist know your medication doses, and should be reliable advisers about safety in your case. Please ask your own physician about these concerns & the conflicting answers.
