Controversial: Your cholesterol is elevated but your HDL is also high, which is very good. Your bp is normal and you are not diabetic. Some physicians would put you on a statin to get your LDL down to 100 or thereabouts. Others would recommend dietary changes and recheck you in a year. Even others might recommend initial treatment with natural agents such as niacin or beta sitosterol.
