You mean ascites?: Distinguish causes based on serum-ascites Albumin gradient--e.g. alcoholic hepatitis, cirrhosis, budd-chiari, cardiac, fatty liver of pregnancy, massive liver mets, myxedema, portal vein thrombosis, sinusoidal obstruction syndrome, pancreatic disease, renal disease, etc. Sounds like however her work-up has ruled most of these out. Now help guide her to the healthiest lifestyle & quality of life.
