Candidiasis : Candidiasis is a fungal infection that can often occur under dentures and can cause the roof of your mouth to become raw and red. Soreness can also happen from poorly fitting dentures. Do not put the dentures back in until you have seen a dentist and they can determine what is wrong. If candidiasis, they can prescribe medication and instruct you on disinfecting your denture.
