Easily: Use a very soft toothbrush with any toothpaste of your choice. Gently and carefully brush all of the tissues, especially the roof of the mouth and the tongue. You want healthy tissues to support your dentures. You want to help avoid developing iph -- inflammatory papillary hyperplasia -- which is very common in denture wearers who do not allow tissue rest and do not clean the mouth. Happy cleaning.

4x4 gauze: Great question! a soft cloth, or 4x4 gauze wrapped around your finger is easy on your gums, yet has rough enough a texture to scrape off plaque--a film of live bacteria growing--in your mouth. You may soak the gauze in mouth wash for cleaner feeling, too. Do not forget to clean the denture in denture cleaner to kill bacteria growing on its surface also.
