Should: If they are properly made and fit well, you should not need / use adhesives. Adhesives are for short term use only --- see the box. If your dentures do not fit well, see the expert , the prosthodontist, for evaluation. Good luck.

Upper dentures: Retention of dentures is based on several factors: size and shape of the ridge and palate, the musculature of the mouth, the amount and consistency of the saliva. Everyone is different...No one knows if they can wear a denture until they get one. Some people need adhesive, and many don't.

They should : However, dentures particularly lower dentures, move so some adhesive may help. For best results consider implants to help keep the dentures in.
