See below: If it is present again, I would go back and be seen. Typically, enlarged lymph nodes can be felt. If there is one present, likely an ultrasound needs to be done and possibly a biopsy. Cancer is one of the causes of enlarged lymph nodes, but so is infection. Best to be seen.

It sounds like the: node size may be getting smaller. Your position on the couch may make it more apparent. Our lymph nodes can become larger when there is an infection or inflammation. The important thing is the it seems to be resolving. Enlarged nodes on the side of the neck are common. I suggest you don't worry - because this one issue alone is not indicative of cancer.
