I am experiencing sore throat. my ent doctor says i have chronic reflex and dysphasia. i've had a upper gi series and endoscopy both came back normal. medication no real effect. is surgery the next move or maybe a different medication. ?

Gastroenterologist: Your next step should be to return to your gastroenterologist. It may be that you need an alteration of your current medication or change of the dosage. If you were still having dysphagia, sometimes in esophageal dilatation, or stretching of the esophagus is useful. He will be better able to tell you based on the details of your situation.
