Maybe reflux: These are common symptoms of esophageal reflux. Acid in throat or esophagus causes mild pain and esophageal muscle spasm. Eat small frequent meals, do not eat 3 hours before going to bed, avoid caffeine, chocolate, mints, tobacco, elevate upper part of bed by putting 4x4 piece of lumber between bedframe and box spring. Try Famotidine or omeprazole.
