My hair has been falling out a lot during the past few years & it's lighter now. no anemia & tsh is normal. i rarely style it. what are other causes?

Dermatologist: A dermatologist can tell you what type of hair loss you're experiencing and whether it's temporary or permanent. Appropriate tests will be ordered. If no pathology is found or if it's deemed to be genetic, consult a skilled beautician for an analysis of your hair and what type of hair care and products would be best for you.

Well: Stress can cause loss of hair. Also genetics. You could be genetically prob to this. See doctor for a complete history and evaluation
