A member asked:

Is it possible to have pounding heart, very strong, with normal heart rate and blood pressure? and if yes, why?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

YES: Sometimes we can sense our own heartbeats without it being dangerous. If you could explain what you mean by "pounding heart, very strong" that would help: I suggest a medical exam and EKG as well as an outpatient 24 hr. Holter Monitor with event diary.
