TSH level: Thyroid disease, more commonly hypothyroidism, can develop with age. If potential symptoms develop, it is reasonable to recheck thyroid function to ensure hypothyroidism has not developed. Typically symptoms gradually increase over several months in many people.

Hypothyroidism.: We can't necessarily predict what a thyroid gland will do over time. Are you having any symptoms consistent with either hypothyroidism (slow) or hyperthyroidism (fast)? Best to just have the blood levels checked again if you're having relevant symptoms.
