Knee pain: Depending on your age, this may suggest a mild form of osteoarthritis. In many cases, physical therapy which includes strengthening of the leg muscles makes a dramatic improvement. If you need to discuss with a rheumatologist, I would be happy to consult with you.

Not sure: what you mean but sounds like Hamstring tightness. This can be dealt with by some physical therapy.(Your PCP Primary Care Provider can arrange this) (BTW joint effusions ("water on the knee") can also prevent full extension of your legs and should be eliminated as a possibility.
