I have a sedimentation rate of 52 and wbc of 13(?). i have joint pain, neck, hip, shoulder, elbows and knees, worse on the right than the left. i also have numb patches on the sides of legs hands feet, this comes and goes. doc is thinking pmr?

It may well be polymyalgia. It is primarily a clinical diagnosis as there are no specific lab tests for the disorder.

PMR is always possible, however there are things that do not match typical PMR, such as the type of pain, affecting multiple joints, numb patches suggesting neuropathy, elevated WBC and ESR. A rheumatology consult may help in clarifying.
