A member asked:

Bloodwork said its mono. have had swollen/tender supraclavicular lymph node for 2 weeks. its shrinking now so thats good right? worried lymphoma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Infectious mono: Mono is much more common than lymphoma, and if the blood work indicated you had mono - that seems to fit with the clinical symptoms you describe. With lymphoma, the lymph nodes would NOT be shrinking- in fact, they would continue to expand. I recommend following up with your doctor for this - absolutely. And an Infectious Diseases doc is a specialist who could help (if there were questions etc).
