It is possible to have mononucleosis without having a sore throat. This can be tested for in bloodwork so perhaps your doctor can test you for mono to rule it in or out. There is no specific treatment for mono-just supportive care like rest and treating any symptoms. If you have an enlarged spleen, you would limit any contact sports until the enlarged spleen decreases in size. So, see your doctor.
