Yes: you can get a colon prep if you have an ulcer or gastritis. As long as you are not vomiting or nauseous you should be ok to tolerate the prep. Otherwise you may not be able to hold down the liquids.

Sure : A liquid diet is pretty benign. Though I you were prescribed mess you should continue to take Those.
