Glowing Skin: Good skin is often a reflection of how healthy we are on the inside. While there are a number of skin products peddled over the counter by many cosmetic companies, many cannot guarantee the outcome that they advertise. In general, smoking and nicotine products have been shown to age skin. So does excess alcohol and sun exposure. Poor nutrition missing vital nutrients can also harm skin.

This depends: on what you are treating. If your problem is dry skin, then moisturizers, drinking lots of water, sunblock, will help, if your problem is related to fine lines, then retinoic acid/retin- A is a good start (be aware it can dry the skin also). If you are developing "age spots", then I usually recommend IPL treatment (Intense Pulsed Light) or chemical skin peel from a Dr trained in aesthetic medicine
