Biopsy: 32 yo lady with a question about a pigmented lesion. Irregular shape and border are concerning findings when it comes to pigmented lesions. Asymmetry, Border, Color, Diameter, and Evolution=ABCDE Here is a link to the CDC website on skin cancer. If a lesion is suspicious, a dermatologist can take a biopsy so a pathologist can look at the cells under the microscope for definitive answer. Good luck

I had a sudden mole show up on my smallest toe, I'm not sure how long it's been there but I would say pretty recently. Within a few months. I have pictures of it. Problem is I can't see a dermatologist around here for at least a month or more.... Is there anything I can do in the meantime? Small brown mole of outer vagina no longer there. No idea where it was so dr can't biopsy. Melanoma? Disappeared over a year ago.
Had the same 3 mm slightly raised medium brown mole on inner thigh for 2 years. It hasn't changed. Would nodular melanoma have grown bigger by now?
